Simaney Kesher is a one-of-a-kind multidisciplinary clinic for the treatment of children and adults with emotional and neurodevelopmental disorders, including those on the autistic spectrum (ASD) or those with Cerebral Palsy, sensory processing issues, behavioral disorders, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, and other various complex syndromes.
The clinic is managed by senior clinical psychologist Dr. Alisa Vig. We provide innovative and comprehensive treatment programs for infants, children, adolescents, and adults based on the DIR model and the Neuro-Geometric approach that are supported by multiple interdisciplinary studies.
The clinic offers MH therapy, occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, and coaching for parents, home caregivers, and educational teams.
These services are provided in a unique and integrative way using success-promoting tools that enable effective case-management of treatment at varying intensity levels.
To implement the same strategies in the child’s daily life and promote success and effective process,
the treatment programs often also include partially or fully integrated home programs and educational team training for children that are included in regular school settings .
All programs are conducted through advanced and specialized play and dialogue techniques that enable one to access on one hand the child’s, adolescent’s, or adult’s inner world and on the other hand support one’s daily functioning and well being. These techniques include Floortime/Talktime and other special and innovative techniques, including Affective Container and Dynamic Drawing. The programs build a broad functional and emotional infrastructure and enable the realization of a child’s potential for social connections, emotional skills, and the development of cognitive and learning skills.
